We’re excited to welcome the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors for a special behind-the-scenes look at the Archives!
Exclusive tours will highlight treasures from the Charles von Blucher Collection, along with materials from surveyors such as Greene, Fenner, and Penny, showcasing historic Coastal Bend maps, field notes, and striking artifacts that document the region’s development. We’ll also feature selections from a newly acquired group of Houston and Galveston–area surveys, including surveys from White and Deidritch.
And we’re looking forward to learning from you — we invite your expertise in helping us better understand our historical surveying instruments by sharing what they are, how they were used, and the stories behind them.
